The first paragraph, from Sirena’s Journal, is phenomenal. (By the way, I have a character named Sirena, too. She’s a mermaid) The rest of the story is fantastic, as it focuses on love, loss, melancholy, and nostalgia. I felt like I could relate to your character, even though I didn’t go through as a child what she went through. There is a lyrical quality to the writing, poetic in nature. The words sing. I look forward to reading more of it.
